Service Recognition Getaway
As a thank you to all of our hard working colleagues who have given us 2+ years continuous service, we would like to offer you and a guest one night’s bed and breakfast in a standard room at the Stange inn of your choice.
You will automatically receive your voucher through the post in September of each year (or March if you hadn’t quite made the 2 year goal by the September). You will receive the details on how to book your stay along with your voucher and a few Ts & Cs. Only two Stange rewards vouchers will able to be used on any given night so if two other colleagues have already taken a room on that night then you will have to choose an alternative night to stay.
We know that your birthday is a special day and when you hit a significant milestone (21st, 30th, 40th ,50th etc.), we feel it’s something to celebrate so we will be sending you a bottle of bubbles in the post for you to enjoy.
Training and Development
The Stange development plan/programme focuses on kitchen and front of house, working towards three different levels of qualification taking you through to management level and getting you ready to take the next step in your career, if and when such a position should come available.
We believe in promotion and recruiting from within where we can, and only hire team members that we believe have the potential to shine and grow under our wing. If progression within the company is something that you would like to pursue we will help you in every way that we can to achieve that goal. NVQ qualifications are also available in a number of areas to help bolster your knowledge, skills portfolio and CV.
Qualifications and Apprenticeships
We love for our team to further themselves and by working with governing bodies, we are able to offer NVQs and various qualifications in a number of areas.
If there is a particular area of the job that you would like to learn more about, get qualified in or learn a completely new skill then speak to your manager and we can look into it for you.
Annual Length of Service Lunch
For all our colleagues who have given 10+ years continuous dedicated service, we would like to say thank you and take you all out for an annual special celebratory lunch.
You will receive your invitation in the post. Just let your manager know that you need the day off and get ready to don your glad rags!
Wedding Mini Moon
For colleagues who have been with us for over 2 years we would love to congratulate you on your big day by treating you and your new spouse to a dinner, bed and breakfast mini moon at a Stange inn of your choice.

We appreciate that sometimes bills crop up unexpectedly and to help ease the burden we are offering colleagues a personal loan of up to 4 weeks’ pay, interest free (granted on a case-by-case basis).

Anually a team made up of three employees from each pub take part in our charity hike, we have completed 3 events so far: Snowdonia Hike, Yorkshire 3 Peaks and the Welsh 3 Peaks. The trip includes a night away, meals and a celebratory dinner at the end of the walk.
If you are interested in taking part then put your name forward to your GM and three members of your pub team will be drawn at random for next year’s challenge.
Each year the charity changes so please if you have a suggestion of a charity that you would like the company to support whilst fundraising for the event please drop claire and email and let her know email@example.com.
